MOBIO hosted a special information breakfast on the Future of AgriBusiness on October 9, 2017

Dear MOBIO Members and Friends,

MOBIO,  along with the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry, invite you to a breakfast discussion on pending business changes impacting our agri-business partners.

As Missouri farmers and agribusiness leaders, we don't fear change; we embrace it. We believe in markets and competition.  And we recognize the very real challenge of meeting the global food demand over the next forty years.

We care about safe, effective farm management strategies that work with our overall goal of providing for our families, the families of Missouri, and the United States. The farming community continues to face unique challenges when it comes to feeding our country and world, while continuing our environmentally and economically sustainable approach on our farms.

The Bayer-Monsanto merger will bring together two totally different, but complementary businesses that can create synergies and innovation.  The resulting customizable, integrated solutions benefit all farmers and food producers.  This merger, especially considering this new age of digital technology, furthers efficiency, greater accessibility to tools and information we need and, ultimately, greater yields.

As farmers and agricultural professionals in Missouri, we need to help inform the community that this merger and their continued commitment to research and development can result in better products, more integrated services and greater productivity. The combination of Bayer-Monsanto can contribute to the next generation of growth and innovation in agriculture not just here in the U.S., but around the world.

Please join us in supporting this common-sense, farmer-minded merger.
